I'm Jean-Marc Augé, the president of Datum Inc. I speak French, English and some Spanish and love to talk about airplanes.  Over the past decade and a half I have built 45 homebuilt aircraft, including Lazairs, Kit Foxes, Cavalier, a Tundra, a Decathalon and 40 Challengers.  I've also consulted on many other homebuilt projects so, if you need help with your homebuilt project, I'm your man. 
 
 
 


We're thrilled to announce that our tail ski is now available for sale.

The through-wheel ski is 26" long and 13" wide.  It weighs only 4 pounds and is compatible with 6" and 8" Matco tail wheels.

Paul Quidoz has done a marvelous job of rebuilding his Taylorcraft.  He lives in Montreal, Quebec and loves to fly in the winter.  So, his father suggested that he buy a set of DatumAir retractable skis so he could enjoy Quebec winters.  He did just that and is thrilled with their performance.  For more photos, Click here.
 
 
To sell our 1500-series skis in Germany we had to have Hoffman load tests run on them.  They exceeded all requirements and we're very proud of that.  We thought we'd share a few photos we have of that process.  Click here to see more photos.
