I have two basic beliefs
about business. The first is
that my products must be the best I can produce..no...the best there
is. My second belief is that my customers are everything.
I
want my customers to see me as a friend; someone they can talk to;
someone who is concerned about the quality of their flying experiences.
I'm lucky, as my
customers are some of the nicest people you'd
ever want to meet and so it's easy for me to treat them as friends.
We got to take photos of some of these friends at the recent
Château Montebello fly-in and I thought it would be nice to
present a few of them to you. These are very special people.

Dennis Kajiura flew in from the
Ottawa region.
He liked the first set of skis he bought from us so much that
he
bought a second pair.
Dennis commented that people are
discovering how
retractable skis revolutionize winter flying. He's a ray of sunshine
and always has that bright smile.

Here I'm talking with Bob Hanson (on

from Ontario. He owns 3 Challengers and and a Pitts Special.
He bought his second set of our skis at the Montebello
fly-in.

Bruce Dexter lives in Lyndonville,
Vermont.
He bought a set of our skis at the show. Bruce is a
typical, friendly, aviation afficionado. He owns a Challenger
and
a BEECH STAGGERWING!!! Here's what he had to say
recently:
"Gisele and myself enjoyed seeing
you folks at
the Montebello winter fly-in again this year. Hope that you
had a
prosperous and fun weekend.
Snow is good in Vermont and we're
really enjoying
our Datum skis. They work great! Please find the
enclosed
pics of our Staggerwing and Challenger on skis. Remember that we would
welcome your visit any time.
Sincerely, Bruce
& Gisele"

Leonel Richard drove to Montebello
from Miramichi
N.B. to take part in this fly-in. He built his own Challenger and he's
another happy owner of our MK11 fiberglass retractable skis.

We received this wonderful photo
from Richard Gagné. It came with this
note:
"Last Saturday I returned to
Tremblant, where I
had taken off from deep snow. The skis behaved spectacularly.
I regularly take off with wheels and land with skis and
vice-versa... the electrical mechanism functions flawlessly."
That's Richard on the far right.
His wife
is in the middle. The guy on the left is Mike Loben, a good
friend of ours.
